At long last BigCommerce is PCI Compliant.
3 days ago BigCommerce came the closest they have ever come to announcing they are finally PCI Compliant by posting a preview of a soon to be released website update. It all sounds positive (if not 12 months too late) and as soon as we get the official notice I am sure many retailers will breathe a sigh of relief.
The question remains though – How long until it is official? Should we run a pool? Do you think it is just a matter of weeks or is this another marketing ploy by the BigCommerce team to buy themselves some time? My money is on early March 2011.

Sounds like things are moving along but I’ll believe it when I see it.
That’s pretty much how I feel to Kerry – I just can’t shake the felling they are just trying to buy themselves some time -especially since it was only announced on the Facebook page not in their blog. Seems a little dodgy – but I might just be jaded.
